1. Data Processing (The "Local" Rule)

Unlike traditional online converters, ConvertEpic uses Client-Side Processing. This means:

When you drop a file into our converter, it is processed by your computer's CPU/RAM, not our servers.
No file data is uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any external server.
Once you close the browser tab, all traces of the file are cleared from your device's temporary memory.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Because our tools run locally, we do not collect:

The content of your images, documents, or audio files.
Metadata from your files (unless you are using our tool to view it).
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names or emails.

3. Usage Analytics & Cookies

We may use basic analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to understand website traffic. This helps us see which tools are popular. This data is anonymized and does not include your files or personal identity. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.

4. Third-Party Advertising

We show advertisements to keep our tools free. These ad providers may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your visits to this and other websites. We do not provide these advertisers with access to the files you convert.

5. Security

Since your files are never uploaded, they are not vulnerable to server-side hacks or data breaches that often affect other online conversion platforms.
